Alzheimer’s robs a person of their ability to reason, to remember, to learn, to share. It is not a normal part of aging, but is a disease that we can and will conquer. It is currently the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, profoundly impacting millions of families and costing the nation hundreds of billions of dollars.
Twenty six years ago, following the death of his mother from Alzheimer’s, David Robinson rode across our country—from Miami to Seattle—raising funds, awareness, and hope in the fight against the disease.
Today, we’re riding again and ask you to support our mission—A World Without Alzheimer’s—by taking part in the Ride for Reason 26th Anniversary event in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, October 11th, 2014 (departure is 8:30 a.m.). All proceeds will benefit the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association and all whom they serve.
